At The Heart Of The World formed because “there is a sadness in this world, for we are ignorant of many things. Yes, we are ignorant of many beautiful things - things like the truth. So sadness, in our ignorance, is very real.”
Danny Porter and Joshua Greene aim to create music that combines feedback and extreme sonic abuse with the catchiness of synth pop. Having spent years touring around the world in punk, hardcore and extreme metal bands while writing songs and ideas down that didn’t fully align until the two meet while living in the Pacific Northwest.
